Heartless Video.
Kanye West releases another video from his album "808 and Heartbreak". This is probably my favorite song on the album. Heartless is a much more personal and darker song then what we're used to hear from Kanye. The video is all animated, but it doesn't dissapoint. Surprisingly, it seems like they actually filmed it regularly, but just made it "cartoonish". If you look at his lips (no homo) it matches the exact words. Plus, by the animated version on Kanye, you can tell HE was real. By his wardrobe, it's obviously him and graphics didn't dress him. Also, the mock house looks very familiar. I wonder if anybody can tell whose house it is. I also believe that on 1:50 Yeezy is sporting a varsity jacket from his Pastelle line. Which looks very promising, considering that Kanye wears it out quite a few times. Check it!

Fantasy Basketball.
So its just that time of the year; BASKETBALL SEASON. Basketball is my all-time favorite sport to be affiliated with. The athleticism, players, history, and of course the shoes are just a few of the many things that draws me in. This year is a little newer, considering the fact that I joined the whole "fantasy" phenomenon. It's pretty fun and the competiveness is crazy. Me, dr. phil, colum, dmost, and brent breezy. Hopefully my team pulls through. I HATE LOSING.

Notorious.
Christopher Wallace a.k.a The Notorious B.I.G. is one of the greatest and most well-known rapper to ever live. Unfortunately in 1997, Biggie was shot down dead in Los Angeles. Nobody never found the shooter, but Big's legacy carried on. If he was alive today, imagine all the success he could have accomplished. On 1.16.09, his story will be told through a movie. It looks very promising, and does not look like it was made soley for money. They really wanted to capture the essence of this rapper who was light years ahead of his time. I'm excited for this movie, and I still can't get enough of the trailer. IT LOOKS GOOD.

Rihanna is dope.
The title says it all. I never thought she looked this good. I have always said that Christina Milian was my #1 girl but I think it just changed. She's #2 and Rihanna reigns at the 1 spot. It's probably her style and swagger that got to me. Whatever it is, Rihanna is dope. Last but not least, Chris Brown eats poo.

Why Olga!?!
Coming home this weekend was the only thing I could think about at school. I was going to see her, my friends, and the highly anticipated, III & XX Package. But the weekend started off in the worst way possible. Me and her were driving Olga (my van) Friday night, and she broke down. NO FUEL it says in front of me, and the only thing I could think of was FUCK FUCK FUCK. I was only around the corner of my house, so I called my parents. They went to the gas station, filled a carton with a gallon of gas, and drove back to fill up Olga. Everything was fine so I dropped her off, and went to DoctorIllPhil's house with Brent to stay over. We were just going to the mall straight from his house. I WAS THAT EXCITED. So off 1 hour of sleep we leave at 5 to go to the mall. We get there no problem and I drive back using the highway to avoid streetlights. Then all of sudden Olga's doing 20 mph on the highway and starts stuttering. I pull over and she's out of gas...again. So me and Brent walk towards traffic on the highway at 5:00am to the Hess station next to Revere Cinema. We left Phil in Olga with 3 Packages. Me and Brent walked all the way to Hess and I bought a gallon of gas. Then I called my boy Tim if he could give us a lift back on the highway (thanks again Tim). ALL THIS FOR THE 3s. Olga broke down twice in less than 12 hours. AWESOME

Ellen Degeneres World Premiere Kanye West
Kanye West is very innovative and artistic in the music industry. This pertains to both his music and his videos. So when I saw he had a video for Love Lockdown (808's & Heartbreak) I knew it would be another masterpiece. In my opinion, Kanye does it again by bringing the creativity and courage to do a video like this. A very inspiring video, and with an all white background, how can you lose? Even Ellen thought it was great. So watch with full attention. It also doesn't hurt that Kanye is wearing his signature Air Yeezy's.

Dr. Phil School of Dance
Salem State should just be renamed "Jeff's Type of College" because the atmosphere is my cup of tea. Dr. Phil is a regular at Salem State and so is my boy Brent Breezy (they run shit over there). They were telling me how every party is party of the year atmosphere. Phil is shown here demonstrating how selectful dancers get busy. Enjoy.

Celebrity x Sneakers x Gear
Ever since I became a fashion enthusiast, I always been interested in what celebrities or I guess rich people wear. They don't always wear the expensive suits, and special made dresses. They are just regular people who have amazing talent or just plain lucky with lots of money. So there has to be a few celebrities who wear cool shoes and street gear. I did some research and chose the famous people who I think deserve a little respect.
Chi McBride has over 700 pair of shoes. He also has four of these. Infareds

Kid Cudi is an up and coming rapper who also enjoys street fashion. 1 0f 1 Air Yeezy

Dj Clark Kent; notorious in the sneaker world. Collaboration with Nike. Enough said.

Dj AM has one of the best diversed heat I've seen from a celebrity. Like these Eminem Encore IV's

A random Korean singer with OG Jordan I's. I think she's worth being here.

Kanye is a regular beast in fashion. Seen here wearing Mocha and Black Cement III's

Lily Allen is an overseas singer who loves sneakers. She also loves True Blue III's

Nobody knows that John Mayer is into street brands like Supreme and Bape. He also loves sneakers. He's wearing the best Air Structure colorway to come out.

Mos Def is a triple threat and a triple OG. In an interview he's comfortably rocking a Supreme hat with Cinco De Mayo's, sticking to the skateboarding theme.

?uestlove exemplifies he's just like his Nike collabo shoes, very loud.

Well, Spike Lee has been in the game since Mars Blackmon. He had paid his dues. That is why he can wear a pair of New York City Lebron 4's.

A few posts ago, I mentioned that Wale raps about sneakers. He's wearing the Diamond Supply Tiffs.

Last but not least, Tinker Hatfield. How can we forget the guy more important to Jordan Brand than Jordan himself? He designed the Air Max 1, Jordans III-XV, Jordan XX, and Jordan XXIII. Designer of the century??? Well, he's rocking Concords.

Weekend Get Away
All this school work and boringness (if not a real word I apologize) can only last so long. That is why every weekend I come home to friends, family, and the most beautiful girl in the world. It also helps me maintain my sanity. Plus on the weekend it's all about the frat parties and getting shitfaced which I'm not too fond of. Sausage fest + alcohol= a recipe for disaster. Besides, there were important reasons for me to come back this time. It was my birthday week and also 1 month anniversary with wifey (corny I know but I don't give a fuck). So I really wanted to come home this time. I'm not the only who went home either. Mostly all the Everett natives went home friday also. Even fellow fashion enthusiast Sano Soles went home. He was actually my ride back home on Friday. But this is how it went down.
Friday-1 month
Saturday afternoon-Rendezvous with Dr. Phil, Sano Soles, Breezy
Saturday night-Birthday dinner with family/friends.
Sunday-church and realizing I suck at Rockband.
View of Lowell from Sano Soles dorm.
For 1 month I thought it was time to fall into temptation so I gave her the most awesomely ill stuffed leopard from Build-a-Bear hospital. Jork D.O.B. 9-12-08. FLAME IF YOU WANT!
I had dinner in Chinatown lol.
Before.
After.
Beast.
I SUCK AT ROCKBAND.

H-O-R-S-E
Couple of weeks ago, there was a little competition at Venice Beach , CA. Average joe David Kalb faced NBA superstar Lebron James in an old school battle of HORSE. Before getting picked to play The Chosen One, there were thousands of videos sent months earlier to see who had the best trick shot. The winner would have a chance to play against Lebron. It's a little reminiscence of when I was little and heaved the ball full court length to see if I could get it in. But these shots are skill and not luck. Check to see who won.

Kan the Louis Vuitton Don.
If you watched the VMA's all the way till the end, then most likely you saw Kanye West performing last. I guess it's true when you save the best for last. I have been a fan of Yeezy since his first album, College Dropout (his best) even though I was too young to relate to what he was rapping about. He then followed up with Late Registration and soon after Graduation. But with this recent performance, Kanye has stepped out of the school theme and became more mature and profound. "Love Lockdown" reveals more about his relationship with his ex-fiance Alexis. In my opinion Kanye once again proves he is a not a dud and also an avant garde as he sings this hit rather than rap it. His new album 808's and Heartbreaks is set to release on December 16. I can't wait to support this guy. No homo. "Love Lockdown" is available on iTunes so go get it. The song is on a hundred, thousand, trillion.

Random.
In college I really don't do anything special. I'm not big on the partying scene and I always stayed sober. I just keep to myself, do spontaneous research, eat unhealthy foods, go to the rec, and stay in someones room doing nothing. But I'm not even complaining. It's a tranquil environment and I enjoy it. At least I come home every weekend to friends, family, and hebikina (inside joke). These are just random pictures I took when i did absolutely NOTHING.
I bring 3 different shoes each week. I don't know why 3. It just sounded like a good number. DT's. Air Tech II. Force 180
This is my roomate Pat. He is a straight up THUG. He's from Chelmsford and do not sleep! His dad has a 401k and Pat has a pretty good shot in archery. I call him Pat the Gat. HE DON'T FUCK AROUND.
This was my dinner-honey smacks, string cheese, m&ms, vanilla columbo yogurt and sunny d. I'll be shitting bricks soon.
